Freshman Engineering Program

TEAMS - Tests of Engineering Mathematics and Science

Description:
The Missouri University of Science and Technology is an affiliate of the Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS), a non-profit educational society promoting interest in engineering, technology, mathematics and science.

Each year the TEAMS program of JETS is administered on campus during February. This program encourages high school students, often with an engineering mentor, in learning team development and problem-solving skills during preparation for the open-book, open-discussion engineering problem solving competition. The student teams also learn how the mathematics and science concepts they are learning in high school are applied to real-world problems.

Student teams participating in the competition at Missouri S&T are competing for local, state, and national recognition.
